Dear NSTAR Community,
We have extended our proposal deadline to host the 15th NSTAR International Conference in 2026 (NSTAR26). Continuing the long tradition, NSTAR26 promises to be an invaluable opportunity for highlighting the current progress in the field and collaboratively discussing future prospects.
We welcome applications from all regions. However, due to the current restrictions affecting visitors from the US (especially DOE employees) to China and Chinese visitors to the US, we will prioritize proposals from other potential hosts to ensure smooth participation and inclusivity for all attendees.
If you are interested in hosting NSTAR26, please submit your detailed proposal by August 30th to nstar24-conference@york.ac.uk. Proposals should include the following information:
Venue Information: Location, capacity, and facilities available.
Accessibility: Transportation options and accommodation arrangements.
Local Support: Availability of local organizing committees and volunteers.
Previous Experience: Experience in hosting similar events or conferences.
Budget: Estimated costs and potential funding sources.
Any other relevant information
You will then be invited to present your proposal at a dedicated online IAC meeting. For any questions or further information, do not hesitate to reach out. We would appreciate a short Intent to Submit notice sent to nstar24-conference@york.ac.uk
Thank you for your continued support and participation in the NSTAR community. We look forward to receiving your proposals and to another successful conference.
Best regards,
Nick Zachariou
On behalf of the Local Organising Committee of NSTAR24 and the NSTAR International Advisory Committee
