2025 is the year of the 40th anniversary of the discovery of the halo nuclei. Following the successful 30th anniversary event in 2015, the International Symposium Commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the Halo Nuclei (Halo-40) will be held in Beijing on October 12–18, 2025. The main topics include: Halo nuclei, Nuclear structures approaching the dripline, Reaction dynamics for exotic nuclei, Advanced nuclear models for exotic nuclei, Interdisciplinary frontiers related to exotic nuclei, and Facility and instruments for exotic nuclei.
