****************************************************************
Last September, we organized the international workshop J-PARC Hadron 2023, which covered a wide range of topics in hadron physics under investigation at J-PARC (For more details, visit https://kds.kek.jp/event/46237/). With the great success of that workshop, we have decided to hold this series of workshops continuously in future years. Recently, many exciting experimental results in strangeness nuclear studies have been reported from the J-PARC hadron hall. Moreover, there is growing enthusiasm for potential experiments on strangeness nuclear physics, anticipated with the extension of the J-PARC hadron hall. Considering these developments, we are organizing the second J-PARC Hadron series workshop, which is dedicated to Strangeness Nuclear Physics and related fields (For detailed topics of discussion, refer to the section below).
The workshop furthermore aims to strengthen the network among the participating researchers, especially in the field of strangeness nuclear physics, which has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. By involving researchers and experimental facilities in the US and Europe, we seek to reinforce our bond in this field worldwide. The workshop will provide ample break times for effective discussions and networking. Though the workshop is held in a hybrid style (Onsite + Online), we warmly invite you to join us in Tokai.
This workshop is hosted by the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) / the Institute for Particle and Nuclear Study (IPNS), and supported by the Hadron Hall User Association (HUA), the Research Center for Nuclear Physics, Osaka univ. (RCNP), and the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA).
***** Main physics topics *****
* Strange nuclear physics (hypernuclei, kaonic nuclei)
* Hadron-Hadron interactions with strangeness
* Hadrons with strangeness
* Nuclear matter and neutron star physics
* Lattice QCD for hadron physics
* Other topics for the development of strangeness nuclear physics
***** Oral presentations *****
This workshop is mainly composed of invited talks to have enough time for each presentation and Q&A sessions to delve into important issues and developments of strangeness nuclear physics and related fields. The organizers are currently scheduling invited talks. In addition, we welcome contributions from participants. Given time constraints, we will select some of them as oral presentations. If there are many contributions, we will organize a poster session. If you wish to present your research, please submit your abstract via the workshop website (https://kds.kek.jp/event/49981/).
We are looking forward to seeing you in Tokai!

If you want to stay at the dormitory, please indicate your schedule on the registration page of our workshop website.
We will by default assign foreign participants to the Tokai dormitory because it is more convenient for people not familiar with the area. If you prefer to stay in a hotel instead, please book it yourself and indicate this on the registration page.
As long as they are available, we will reserve dormitory rooms for all workshop participants. However, if the blocked rooms are full, we will ask you to reserve a room in the dormitory or another hotel yourself. For other hotels around Tokai, the following website provides useful information.
